How to Play Audio Track?
When creating an Audio Disc, many times we would like to listen to a track we have located, before adding it to the compilation. For this there is a low functionality Audio Player integrated with the program. The Audio Player is only available under Audio Compilation, accessible by selecting View –> Audio player on the menu.
The Audio player will appear, as shown below.
Click the Play button, to listen to the track. After you have begun playing the track the Play button changes to the Pause button. By clicking on the time field, you can change from Elapsed to Remaining time and vice versa. Under the title of the track, there is a slider selection bar with which you can browse through it.
You can also drag and drop tracks on the player to start playing, either from the Explorer window or the Compilation window. The player doesn’t change the functionality of the program in any way. Once you have added a track in the compilation you can click on it, with the right mouse button, and choose Play track from the context menu that appeared.
The track will continue to play, even if you close the Player window, so if you want to stop the reproduction click the Pause button first.
What’s New To CDBurnerXP Download:
- Printing a thumbnail view of data discs. This will print all image files, as well as music files that contain album art, as thumbnails with file names. There are only two options yet if you need more customisability, just let me know.
- Verification of video DVDs. While this does not match the user voice request since audio discs can still not be verified, this is as good as it gets, because audio CD verification is not really reasonable from a technical point of view.
- The startup screen: These are the options of the startup screen.

Q: Is there a backup feature in CDBurnerXP?
A: Not yet. However, it may help you to know that you can save your compilation so that you don’t have to recreate it every time (File → Save/Open CD/DVD Layout). You can also update it (add new files, remove missing files) when you open it and right-click in compilation area → “Update compilation”.
