2) Create your first GoodSync job
Create and name your first GoodSync job, and select between one-way backup or two-way synchronization.
3) Select source and destination folders
Locate the files you like to backup or synchronize and select their destination. GoodSync supports all major protocols and cloud services.
4) Choose your automation option
Automate your GoodSync job with real-time, periodical, or scheduled automation options. Relax knowing you will never lose a single file again.
Installing GoodSync on Windows
1) Download the latest release of GoodSync
2) Run the installer and select the language of choice.
3) Agree to the user terms.
4) Click the Finish button to complete the installation and run GoodSync.
Now you are ready to create your first GoodSync Backup/Synchronization job.
How to create a new job?
Backup and synchronization is performed through the concept of a “job.” A job is a type (one-way or two-way sync), a source and destination, and a set of options configured to fit the needs of the replication.
1) On the Job menu, select “New” or click the “New Job Button” in the toolbar.
2) On the New GoodSync Job prompt:
- Enter the name for your new Job.
- Select Backup or Synchronize as your Job type.
3) Click the Left Browse, choose the Left Folder for your new Job.
Click the Right Browse, choose the Right Folder for your new Job.
You may set your left and right locations with any of the following, including local, remote, and cloud file systems. For more information about a particular supported system, click here.
4) Click the Analyze button and review the proposed changes.
5) Click the Sync button.
Your files are now synchronized!
